Feedback Process

The current version of Equality of Rights Under the Law is based on other states' equal rights amendments, anti-discrimination ordinances from Ohio localities as well as input from policy experts, direct service workers, and activists. However, this is a movement to protect ALL Ohioans, and that requires input from people and organizations of many different backgrounds. We want your input to continue to improve this language so that it can offer the best set of protections for Ohioans. You can submit written feedback below.

If you are part of an organization that wants to have input into the final version of the ballot language, we encourage you to join our negotiations of the language later this year. There is no monetary contribution required to contribute to this process.

If you are an individual wishing to be further involved in shaping the ballot initiative language, we encourage you to contact us about joining Ohio Equal Rights, which represents the interests of a grassroots network of individuals working on this initiative.
